Bristol Academy of Sport, based at Filton campus on the outskirts of the city is seeking commercial partners to work with, in promoting it's portfolio of internationally competing teams, first class facilities, community interaction and stars of the future.

Bristol Academy of Sport is recognised as one of the best sports colleges in the country for its approach to the development of the athelete whilst ensuring they achieve in their academic studies.

With a full time register of 2,000 students based permanently on campus, an additional 5,000 visits by members of the community and the colleges community programmes interaction with over 12,000 school age children each week, the potential for brand reognition is immense.

And in April 2011, the colleges Ladies Football team will take their place alongside Arsenal Ladies, Doncaster Belles, Chelsea, Liverpool, Everton, Birmingham and Lincoln in the FA Womens Super League, a brand new summer professional league to be televised by ESPN.

Professional sports clubs such as Bath Rugby, Bristol Rovers FC and Barry McGuigans Boxing Academy are regular visitors to the Filton campus and the Kenyan Olympic squad have booked the facilities as their training base for the 2012 London Olympics. The college also has it's own professional basketball team, the Bristol Academy Flyers who play in the English National League Division 1 and frequently attract over 400 spectators to home games.
